Brian Fischer
Brian is founder and President of PVCG, with over 25 years experience assisting both established and emerging technology companies develop winning business strategies and plans. His client engagements have focused on helping companies identify, and pursue, opportunities in the new markets formed by the convergence of telecommunications, computing, the Internet and media.
Prior to founding PVCG, he was a Vice President and Partner of Booz Allen & Hamilton, both in San Francisco and London. As Vice President, he led the Media and Telecommunications industry team of Booz Allen's West Coast Information Technology Group and, prior to that, led the team that launched the Firm's Information Technology Group in Europe. In addition, Mr. Fischer led the Travel Industry team of Booz Allen's European Information Technology Group, and led the Firm's work in defining and helping clients participate in the rapidly growing electronic distribution channels arena
Gilbert H. (Gib) Hoxie
Gib is a Managing Director of PVCG and an active member of the Tech Coast Angels, one of the United States' most active Angel Investment groups. His client work has primarily focused on Micro Strategies -- helping companies address specific issues quickly in a strategic context. Gib also leads the market research and segmentation efforts in the firm.
Gib has held both Partner and Director positions in a number of consulting firms, including Arthur D. Little and Booz Allen & Hamilton, and was the founder of The Pacific Group, which focused on both wireless infrastructure and "concept-to-market" strategies.
He is past President of the Orange County Chapter of the Tech Coast Angels, as well as a former Board Member of the Portable Computer and Communications Association and Recording For The Blind.
Raulee Marcus
Raulee is a senior member of the PVCG team and has extensive experience in building and running companies in highly competitive industries. Her primary focus at PVCG is in the organizational and management process area, as well as market research and marketing communications / branding for clients. In addition, Raulee has had extensive experience in the health care area, both as an operating executive as well as a consultant.
Her previous positions include CEO of Obagi (the #1 physician-mediated skin care company), Group VP of Jafra Cosmetics (a division of the Gilette Company), Director of Global Skin Care for Colgate-Palmolive, and Corporate Officer at Neutrogena, where she lead the change from a single product company to a multi-line business.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of Keepsake Quilting (the largest direct-mail quilting company), Next Estate Communications, and the Craft and Folk Art Museum of Los Angeles.
Michael Michigami
Michael has over 25 years of industry experience in the Internet, telecommunications, computing and networking markets. As a senior member of the PVCG team, he works with clients to improve operations, raise capital, define strategy and build management teams.
Michael has been CEO of three public companies (Electronic Associates, Digital Microwave and Datapoint Corporation), and has both built new product lines and reinvigorated older product lines, and has a proven track record in turning around struggling businesses.
He is a trustee of Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut, and a member of several advisory boards
Milind Lele
Milind Lele leads PVCGs Management Education efforts and has over 30 years of consulting and teaching experience. He has consulted extensively on a wide variety of strategy and marketing issues, including market segmentation, new products, channels, and pricing.
Milind is currently Adjunct Professor of Marketing and Strategy at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and lectures in the University's Executive Education program, leading courses at its Chicago, Barcelona, and Singapore campuses.
He has worked across a wide range of industries, including Aerospace, Chemicals, Financial Services, High Technology, Industrial Equipment, Telecommunications and Transportation, and has written three books: The Customer Is Key, (New York: John Wiley & Sons, 1987), Creating Strategic Leverage (New York: John Wiley & Sons, 1992), and Monopoly Rules! (New York: Crown Business Books, 2004).
Milind has been published in the Harvard Business Review, the Sloan Management Review, Research & Technology Management (the journal of the Industrial Research Institute), Planning Review and other business and technical journals
